Tauru is a town in Nuh district in the Indian state of Haryana. Nuh district is one of the 22 districts in the Indian state of Haryana. It has an area of 1507 square kilometres (582 sq mi) and 10,89,406 population. It is bounded by Gurgaon district up north, Rewari district on the west and Faridabad and Palwal districts on the east. It is predominantly populated by the Meos, who are agriculturalists, and Muslims.
